January 22 & 23

Location :  Wanderlust Griffintown

THE PROGRAM :

This program has been created to serve the ever-expanding yoga community of teachers and practitioners. Myself and Jill Campbell, who together have over 30 years of instruction experience, offer continuing education for instructors and advanced practitioners. Participants are asked to have completed a 200hr (or more) YTT, and/or have been teaching for at least 6 months, or have equivalent experience

This is a rigorous, practice based training that will prepare you to teach, or practice a sophisticated, intelligent style of vinyasa. The training is designed for teachers who want to expand their knowledge, or transition to a vinyasa style of teaching, and advanced students who simply want to deepen their practice.

The schedule will include personal practice, sequence creation and coaching, daily philosophical discussions, pranayama, and workshops.

*There is a mandatory pre-training component of approximately 20 hours that must be completed one week before the training begins on November 16th.

The material we hope to include, yet will not limited to and may change without notice:

  • Progressive postural labs

  • Advanced sequencing and theming

  • Precise and accurate cueing

  • Therapeutics/morphological assessment and applicable variants

  • Applied anatomy

  • Returning to roots/philosophy of yoga

  • Recharge, restorative asana and theory

  • Personal practice building

  • Trauma sensitivity

  • Subtle body anatomy

  • Mechanics and 'stretching'

  • Breath and nervous system education

The training offers alternative tools to improve and evolve your practice and teaching. This training is a culmination of years of instruction, trainings, and working together. It is a pleasure to share. The hope is to maintain and grow an intelligent vinyasa community, while still inspiring and growing together.
